OUR AREAS OF ACTION

As part of the missions that we wish to implement at the EScabel associative café and in accordance with the "Social Living Space" approval granted by the Haute Garonne Family Allowance Fund and the Toulouse City Hall, we are implementing our actions around 6 areas of intervention described below.

This is why our team is building a monthly program in collaboration with the association's members, residents and stakeholders in the life of the Arnaud Bernard neighborhood, artists and partner associations; around these areas of intervention.

Diversity & family

Diversity is a complex subject with as many definitions as there are audiences that constitute it. We have settled on a definition of diversity that resonates with us:

"Accepting differences while cultivating our shared values."

Thus, we seek to develop spaces where all audiences can meet and also discover that they have commonalities with others, whether in terms of age, socio-professional category, gender, etc.

Space for cultural expression

Culture thus becomes a structuring element, allowing for meaningful connections between the neighborhood's residents. Highlighting these spaces of cultural expression offers Escabel residents and users the opportunity to become emissaries of their own cultures, thus creating a rich and diverse cultural mosaic within our community.

Digital inclusion

Escabel has set up a digital mediation space that aims to make digital technology accessible to each individual and to provide them with the digital skills that will be a lever for their social and economic inclusion. This will involve individual support as well as group workshops.

Friendly living space

L'Escabel is a resource and festive space for residents of the neighborhood and beyond, offering a moment of solidarity and humanity for people from all walks of life. L'Escabel embodies its commitment as a friendly living space through three essential dimensions: we defend the idea of a place of unconditional and secure welcome, where volunteers play a central role in the dynamic.

Local & community life

Inter-association solidarity is at the heart of our vision. We seek to strengthen ties between the neighborhood's various entities, share resources, and create collaborative projects that will benefit the entire Arnaud Bernard neighborhood. We believe in the power of cooperation to address common challenges and make the neighborhood a place where diverse talents and initiatives flourish.
