L'Escabel lives and thrives thanks to the commitment of its volunteers, users, and neighborhood residents.
More than just a welcoming place, the café invites everyone to become an active participant in their own experience and to contribute actively to community life. This participatory philosophy is reflected even in its governance: the board of directors and the executive committee are entirely composed of committed volunteers.
To put the collectively defined guidelines into practice, a team of two employees and two civic service workers ensure the day-to-day implementation of projects and the smooth running of this shared living space.
